Bring the outdoors, indoors, with a marquee wedding. These venues have their own marquee in the grounds which can accommodate a big guestlist

Cow Shed Crail

Marquee plus barn adds up to a winning combo, and it’s all laid on at the Cow Shed Crail in Fife. Hold your ceremony in the steading marquee, enjoy drinks in the courtyard and then dance the night away in the picturesque barn.

Friars Carse

No longer restricted to the summer months, outdoor weddings are now held all year round at Dumfriesshire venue Friars Carse. Its marquee is fully equipped and can be customised to suit any size of guest list

Mar Hall Golf and Spa Resort

Glitz and glamour are part of the deal at Renfrewshire’s Mar Hall, and its marquee certainly fits the bill. Its dazzling lighting and expert draping alone make an impressive canvas for a stylish wedding.

Melville Castle

For parties with a bustling guest list, Melville Castle’s on-site marquee is a dream come true. Pitched on the Midlothian venue’s east lawn, it is close enough to the impressive building to allow you and your guests to mingle back and forth til your heart’s content.

Dunkeld House Hotel

With the shining River Tay as a backdrop, this stately marquee has a prime spot in the grounds of Dunkeld House Hotel – and you’ll be able to invite as many as 170 guests to join you in this attractive corner of rural Perthshire.

Alona Hotel

Sitting pretty in Strathclyde Country Park, the Alona Hotel is just a stone’s throw away from M&D’s theme park, but we reckon the hotel’s marquee is the biggest attraction hereabouts. It provides a secluded paradise away from the main building in which to enjoy your day.

Eden Leisure Village

Nestled in a 25-acre site a mere 14 miles from Glasgow, Eden Leisure Village boasts a dedicated marquee and stretch tent area all year round. Draped with foliage and bunting, it gives a w-day soirée a real touch of class.

Innes House

Available from mid-April to mid-October, the marquee at Innes House, near Elgin in Moray, is attached to the main building, forming a room off the ballroom for a free-flowing atmosphere.

Cornhill Castle

Showcasing everything you’d expect from a marquee but with added sophistication is Cornhill Castle’s wedding pavilion. It’s fully heated and decorated with chandeliers and ceiling draping – you’ll feel right at home here in Biggar.

Dundas Castle

This elegant marquee at Dundas Castle has the stability of a permanent structure. By day it is flooded with natural light thanks to two walls of windows, and there’s an LED lighting system (which can be personalised) for once the sun goes down.

Hamilton Park Racecourse

Overlooking lush green grounds, the parade ring marquee is the jewel in the crown of Hamilton Park Racecourse. Offering not one but two permanent structures, there’s space for up to 240 people to party into the wee small hours.
