This summer’s most stylish kilts and suits deserve an iconic setting, so where better to showcase them than the shores of Loch Lomond
Our photoshoot team had a busy day capturing this season’s hottest grooms’ looks at Lodge on Loch Lomond recently. Hopefully you’ll have seen some teasers on our social media by now, but if not, read on for the behind the scenes lowdown and to see the full set of images…

The location
Lodge on Loch Lomond in Luss enjoys magnificent panoramic views across Scotland’s most iconic loch. We took over the hotel’s spacious Glen Luss suite for the day which has a private entrance/exit onto the beach, and there’s a patio that can be used for outdoor weddings if the weather allows (thankfully the rain stayed away for us). The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and its friendly, professional team can guide you through the process of creating the wedding day of your dreams.
The models
We booked Atta and Robbie through Model Team and, as they’d worked together numerous times before, they had great camaraderie on the day.

The guys’ hair
Head honcho at House Martin Barbers Stephen Martin tells us how he sorted the fellas’ hair. “On Robbie, I used House Martin Sea Salt Spray to add some texture and hold before blow drying. I then worked some House Martin Dry Matte Paste through his hair to keep it with in place without overloading it with product.
“For Atta, I use some Murdock London Sea Salt Volume Mousse before blow drying to give his hair a bit of lift. I used a small amount of Reuzel Matte Pomade through which is great for straight hair when it needs a bit of hold. Finally, I used some Murdock London Beard Moisturiser to soften Atta’s beard and give it a more matte finish.”
