Haddo House: an elegant stately home wedding venue in Aberdeenshire

Haddo House is a Georgian mansion surrounded by formal gardens, woodland and a country park. Inside, couples can make use of the principal rooms, including the Library, Drawing Room, Morning Room and Ante Room. With capacity for up to 160 guests, plus a separate hall for large receptions, Haddo House combines history with practical flexibility. Managed by the National Trust for Scotland, wedding hire directly supports conservation work.

Wedding spaces at Haddo House

Ceremonies can take place in a variety of locations:

• The Chapel – for religious ceremonies, seating up to 110 guests
• The Library or Drawing Room – civil, religious and humanist ceremonies in an elegant setting
  

Drinks receptions are often held in the Morning Room, Ante Room or on the terrace overlooking the gardens.

For wedding meals:

• The Library accommodates up to 80 guests for dining
• Haddo Hall, a separate events building with sprung dancefloor, is suitable for wedding breakfasts of up to 160 guests and evening receptions for up to 250 guests.
  

For larger celebrations, a marquee can be set up on the Lower Lawn next to Haddo Hall.
