Logie Country House

Logie Country House itself is a stunning blend of both old and new following a devastating fire in 1974. The blaze burned the Aberdeen wedding venue to the ground, and in 2009 the home was rebuilt from a roofless ruin into the imposing beauty it is today. The venue may look and feel old given its interiors and décor, but the house is now up to modern day standards in regard to heating and insulation. 

The house is adjacent to ancient woodlands boasting three Pictish standing stones, and the front lawn leads down to the river Urie where you will find a private island with a treehouse for children. Venturing across the river, there are beautiful cow fields that, in mid 2025, Highland cows will graze in – an exciting addition to the estate.

Award-winning cuisine

Their purpose built, soundproof, air-conditioned ballroom can cater for up to 160 day guests and a further 20 evening guests – with no minimum numbers. Their award-winning caterers, Hudsons Catering, have been in business for over 30 years and have catered for the likes of presidents, kings and queens, lords and ladies and mere mortals, too! 

The fantastic business can cater for any and all dietary requirements, with a range of cuisine’s from across the globe on offer too, including Indian, Thai, Polish, Russian or simply Scottish Fayre. Hudsons are even happy to use “granny” recipes, and you are welcome to provide your own beef, fish or home brew, too! Outstanding guest accommodation and leisure facilities

There are 17 awe inspiring bedrooms (all ensuite with the exception of two family rooms) that can sleep up to 50 guests. There is also an indoor pool, two hot tubs in the courtyard, a cinema and games room, and five wood burning fires with unlimited logs to be used. Extremely aware of their surroundings, Logie Country House have many solar panels on the estate’s barn, high efficiency heating and a host of eco-friendly and sustainable additions to the space.
