This A-listed, four-star museum is situated within the Duke of Hamilton's former estate and is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Hamilton. Having become a popular wedding venue in recent years, it is an ideal setting to host your civil, religious or humanist ceremony in their stunning Assembly Room.
Steeped in elegance
The museum buildings are historically significant, with the Assembly Room initially being used as a fashionable meeting place for Hamilton’s high society. Having retained its original plasterwork, large arched windows and musician's gallery centuries later, the space is now a space for celebrations that comfortably hosts up to 80 guests. The room is complemented by its decadent interior and regal baby grand piano, which coupled with the room’s marvellous acoustics, allow for a memorable musical element to your special day.
The private courtyard gardens adjacent to the Assembly Room feature a charming pagoda, providing a graceful and imposing backdrop for your wedding photographs. The courtyard is available for use during your celebrations and makes a lovely setting for a champagne reception, where your guests can relax al fresco if the weather permits it.
There are also a range of additional in-house services available, such as toast drinks and canapés, as well as buffet and afternoon tea-style wedding meals that are perfect for a spring or summer wedding.
The historical setting of this incredible venue offers a stunning backdrop to your wedding day that is sure to impress your guests. With years of knowledge and expertise, the team at Low Parks Museum will blow you away with their meticulous attention to detail and dedication to ensuring your day is perfect in every way.
