Pratis Barns as it’s known today was brought to fruition in 2019 by married couple Patrick and Nicola Gilmour. With a previous events company of their own, including a family passion for food, drink and entertaining, Pratis was destined for greatness from the beginning.
Priding themselves on being an “all-in-one” barn venue, couples can relax in the knowledge of a stress-free celebration over two or three days. From catering and accommodation to décor and your own wedding team – this venue ticks all the boxes. Their award-winning in-house caterers create mouth-watering meals using locally sourced, fresh produce, guaranteeing a truly memorable culinary experience for all.

If the unpredictable Scottish weather permits it, The Grounds, including the walled garden, offer breathtaking views across the Firth of Forth, making for a perfect intimate outdoor ceremony and reception space.
Ideal for a chic drinks reception, The Shed is a light and airy space that is a true blank canvas, able to be styled to your preferences for a more tailored experience. For dining and partying the night away, The Byre is an outstanding space for your evening celebrations. This dual space is fit for dancing the night away and features a fully stocked, licensed bar and entertainment stage.
