All eyes may have been on the engagement sparkler over the past few months, but it's time to let some other jewellery take the spotlight on your big day: your wedding ring and a beautiful pair of bridal earrings.

With the exception of perhaps a veil, no bridal accessory frames the face quite like some statement earrings and Scottish start-up Gemini Clay Studio does them like no other.

We've teamed up with the Ayrshire-based company to give one lucky bride the chance to collaborate on the design of her own pair of bespoke bridal earrings and then have them made!

What does Gemini Clay Studio do?

Gemini Clay Studio is a jewellery design studio based in Kilmarnock in Ayrshire, Scotland, run by owner, designer and maker Sophie Smith. She started making jewellery for herself in 2020, then took the bold leap to transform her hobby into a business, allowing her to share her designs and products with others.

It offers unique, ready-to-wear and limited-edition collections of earrings that are suitable for brides, bridesmaids, wedding guests and anyone who wants to stylishly adorn their lobes no matter the occasion!

The ready-to-wear Signature collections comprise an array of styles from abstract freshwater pearl drops, to chic ornate blue baroque earrings made from lightweight polymer clay.

Sophie tells us more: "I believe in keeping products fresh and exciting. That’s why, along with our signature styles, new collections are added every 2-4 months. So, whether you’re looking for daring or delicate, there’s a style for you.

"I take inspiration from art movements, vibrant and serene colours, and various fashion trends. My pieces are an inspired blend from the past, present, and future, reflecting my love for all beautiful things."
