Thackray House terms and conditions: 1. The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Thackray House, Tie the Knot Scotland and any participating prize partners, together with their immediate families 2. No purchase is necessary to enter 3. The competition opens on 14th September 2026 and closes at midnight on 30th November 2026. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted 4. One winning couple will receive a wedding at Thackray House in Callander, Scotland, with a total prize value of £18,000 5. The prize includes exclusive use of Thackray House for 24 hours for the wedding celebration; wedding ceremony in the private chapel or an alternative ceremony space within the house or grounds; photography and videography; use of the Drummond Suite for the wedding breakfast and evening celebration; welcome drink for up to 100 guests; wedding breakfast (three-course meal) for up to 100 guests; two glasses of wine per person with the wedding breakfast; bridal suite / wedding couple’s accommodation for the wedding night; accommodation for 28 additional guests / 14 bedrooms; breakfast the following morning for up to 30 guests; support from the Thackray House wedding team throughout the planning process 6. The wedding must take place by end of 2027 and is subject to availability 7. The prize is available on selected dates only. The following dates and periods are excluded: Christmas, New Year, June, July and August and all UK public holidays. 8. The winning couple must confirm and book their wedding date within 30 days of being notified that they have won 9. The prize is based on a maximum of 100 event guests, including a maximum of 30 staying overnight. Additional guests may be added, subject to venue capacity, availability and payment of the applicable additional charges by the winning couple 10. Any products, services or upgrades not expressly included in the prize will be payable by the winning couple 11. The following are not included: travel to and from the venue, wedding attire, flowers, entertainment, wedding cake, décor, registrar or celebrant fees, insurance and any other third-party supplier costs 12. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winning couple agrees to permit reasonable photography and videography to be captured during their wedding day. The couple grants Thackray House and Tie the Knot Scotland a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use selected photographs and video footage from the wedding for editorial, marketing, promotional, website, social media and advertising purposes. The couple will be consulted where images are used in a sensitive context, but no further consent or payment will be required 13. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered 14. The wedding date cannot be changed once confirmed except at the sole discretion of Thackray House and may be subject to additional charges 15. The winning couple will be responsible for arranging and paying for any legal requirements associated with their marriage or civil partnership, including all registrar or celebrant fees 16. The winning couple must comply with Thackray House’s standard wedding terms and conditions and any reasonable venue policies 17. The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries and contacted via email and telephone call by the Tie the Knot Scotland team within three days of the competition closing 18. If the winner does not respond 14 days of being contacted, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner 19. The winner may be required to provide proof of age and eligibility 20. By accepting the prize, the winning couple agrees to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the competition, including photography and/or filming associated with the wedding, subject to agreed arrangements regarding privacy and usage 21. Any personal information supplied during the competition will be processed in accordance with the applicable privacy policies of the competition promoter and partners 22. The promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this unavoidable 23. The promoter’s decision in relation to the competition is final.

Tie the Knot Scotland reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Tie the Knot Scotland’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Tie the Knot Scotland. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. Entry into the competition is at the entrant’s sole risk.
