If you’re still to pick your wedding venue, it’s worth making the most of open days, where you can roam round the site, pick out your favourite spots and start to imagine your day.

Gean House will be hosting a number of wedding events this spring – two open evenings and a wedding fayre.

The open evenings offer guests the chance to wander through the house and soak up the history of the striking building, and discuss the venue over a cup of coffee. It’s a good chance to get a feel for the space and see how the rooms could be set up according to your needs.

An event coordinator will be on hand at both open evenings to give information on packages and answer any wee queries that cross your mind.

Gean House Manager Billy Robertson said, “For some, the open evenings we have been having are the first time they have set foot in Gean House and often during the week, rooms are set up for meetings which means you don’t get to see other set up’s for a celebratory dinner or wedding. The open evening allows people to have that chance and to view the house and see its full potential.”

The open evenings will take place on Wednesday 21st January and Wednesday 18th February from 5-7pm. The wedding fayre is on Sunday 1st March from 12-3.30pm. Both events are free entry.
