We’ve long been fans of Hong Kong-based designer Lusan Mandongus. Her gowns are renowned for their meticulous construction, beautiful fabrics and exquisite hand-beading. They exude a sophisticated elegance, but offer a contemporary, whimsical twist. And guess what? You’ll be able to see lots of them on 3rd and 4th October, as Kavelle Couture in Edinburgh will be hosting a trunk show.

She’s such a distinguished figure in designer bridal design, so we are privileged to have her creations in our store,” says Tony Landa of the Brandon Terrace boutique. “Lusan focuses on creating timeless gowns. Many of them have a wonderfully vintage feel and are über-romantic, catering specially for women with an appreciation for high-level style and couture-like details: think billowing bishop sleeves, ethereal overlays and delicately scalloped necklines, all developed to make you swoon. We’re personally obsessing over the beautiful lace cuffs!” he adds.
