Content creator Social Brides Club used hearts, bows and the colours of love for this styled photoshoot that offers a cool spin on a 14th February wedding

Every day should be filled with love in our opinion, but we came over all hearts and flowers when we saw these gorgeous images captured by Scottish wedding photographer Willow and Wilde at elegant and quirky exclusive-use Borders wedding venue Netherbyres House.

The styled photoshoot was put together by Lauren Bunnage of luxury wedding content creator Social Brides Club, who lined up some brilliant suppliers to help bring her modern and fun aesthetic to life.

Red and pink wedding theme with hearts and bows

“The brief centred around vibrant red and pink colour blocking as these are the colours of love,” Lauren says. “Greenock florist Hey Bud created flowers in their signature modern, vibrant style and the bouquet featured deep red roses, marble roses and a touch of pink with adorning ribbons. When it came to the table setup, Edinburgh prop hire and wedding stylist Little Dressing Co. styled it beautifully with 2Flux Stationery Studio. We went all out with candles, hearts and bows to add that extra touch of sweetness.”

Pink champagne tower and red heart confetti

“The venue had the coolest backdrops and brought even more colour to the shoot,” recalls Lauren. “A standout moment was the champagne tower with pink fizz and cherries set up on the bar with the ‘Drunk in Love’ sign. The red love-heart confetti from Your Confetti is also a must-have for February couples.”

More delightful details came via East Lothian cake maker Me Baked, which pulled out all the stops to create a full cake display that included a scrumptious two-tier marble wedding cake, brownies and red-velvet cupcakes. Yum.

The beautiful day was also captured by Vivid Weddings who created this film capturing the darling details and special moments from the shoot.

Short sequin wedding dress and ruffle veil

The emotion between models Matty and Jeannie is genuine as they are, in fact, a real-life married couple!

No secret admirers here – other than our admiration for the outfits donned by the pair.

Lauren tells us more: “For the bride’s look we had two dresses: a sleek fitted Pronovias gown from Edinburgh bridal store Kavelle Couture, paired with a dramatic ruffle veil from The Dress Detective and a short sequin dress by Morilee from Broxburn store Gwenne Wedding Services. The heart earrings from Penny Pearl Bridal Co. were the perfect finishing touch.”

Even the getting-ready outfit reflected the brief, with a fun and feathery MEEKA robe.

“Makeup was flawlessly applied by Jenny Ross and featured a romantic red lip, while hair was styled into a sleek bridal ponytail by Rebecca J Hair,” adds Lauren.
