With a vision for a colourful wedding with stunning flowers, custom stationery, and a tower of rosé champagne, Nicole Parrack Creative and Maggie Moo's Flowers created this romantic styled shoot

Photographer Nicole Parrack and florist Claire Meenan of Maggie Moo’s Flowers experienced for themselves one of those wedding-decor reveal moments on TikTok where you see the couple’s jaws drop in amazement. “Seeing our vision come to life and working with amazing suppliers to make it happen was genuinely brilliant,” Nicole smiles.

Nicole and Claire had long talked about doing a styled shoot with a romantic, fairytale-inspired aesthetic. When they shared their spring floral and pastel moodboard on social media, they were inundated with wedding suppliers keen to take part. “We also wanted to host the shoot in a venue with a grand façade and gardens. Gleddoch fitted the bill perfectly,” Nicole adds.

Despite Scottish weather living up to its notoriety, Maggie Moo’s flowers introduced a soft sprinkling of brightness to the day. “White snapdragon, blue delphinium, peach and yellow carnations, and pink, yellow and white roses were just some of the flowers I used. I also got to showcase my new floral hoop, and when the rain eased off, we got some amazing photos of it in the courtyard and on the lawn,” says Claire.

"Although the weather was dull, the colours were so vibrant. Nicole captured them perfectly!” says Claire at Maggie Moo’s Flowers

“The weather wasn’t on our side. It wasn’t easy, but we made it work,” says photographer Nicole who managed to capture a few images outside when there was a brief respite from the rain.

As well as the wonderful wedding cake, Snowdrop Wedding Cakes provided bud vases for the table decor that Maggie Moo’s Flowers filled with blooms. “They were so simple yet effective,” says florist Claire.

Of course it would have to be petal-garnished pink champagne in such a pretty setting.
