After 11 years of trading, Alison Kirk Bridal has announced it’s due to close its doors in November 2024.

Owner Lindsay shared the "difficult decision" on social media mid-May of this year, saying: "The life of a small business owner has many ups and downs but through it all it has been a joy and an honour to play a small part in the big day of so many brides over the last 11 years.

"Thank you all for choosing to be an Alison Kirk bride!"

Despite closing up shop come autumn, Lindsay has reassured all current brides that their outstanding orders will be fulfilled as promised.

No new dress orders will be taken, but the Dundee boutique's wedding dress sample sale section is now in "full sale mode".

"Once they're gone, they're gone!" owner Lindsay says of Alison Kirk Bridal's sale rail

“All sample wedding, bridesmaid, and flower girl dresses must go. We have accessories, veils and some shoes too,” Lindsay shares. But be quick if you see one you like, as there is only one of each dress.

To see all of the wedding dresses on offer, including the Halo A-line by Adore by Justin Alexander and mikado-bodice Hattie by Justin Alexander below, simply head to the sale section of Alison Kirk Bridal’s website where prices and sizes are available for reference.

On the bridesmaid sale rail it's £50 per dress – and with only one of each dress available the boutique calls it "the perfect opportunity to mix and match styles and colours for a unique look!"

Being a bridesmaid is an honour. But what exactly are you expected to do? And who funds your dress? Here's what you need to know about the supporting role
