Professional equipment and secure image backup

Kamila photographs weddings using professional Nikon camera systems, including:

•    Nikon Z6 III
•    Nikon D750
•    Nikon Z fc

These are paired with high-quality lenses and a Godox V100 flash system for low-light and evening celebrations.

Every wedding is photographed with full backup equipment, including spare cameras, lenses, batteries and memory cards. Wherever possible, images are recorded simultaneously onto two memory cards to create an instant backup during the wedding day itself.

Following the wedding, images are securely stored on external hard drives for up to three years before being delivered through a secure online gallery.

With a photography degree and previous experience working within one of Shoreditch’s leading photography studios in London, Kamila developed a strong foundation in editorial-style imagery and creative storytelling before specialising in weddings and family photography.

Inspired by fashion and editorial photography, her work combines a refined, stylish aesthetic with a calm and approachable presence that helps couples feel genuinely relaxed in front of the camera.

Over the last three years, Kamila has photographed weddings across Scotland, recently making the move into full-time photography.

How does the booking process work?

Couples begin by submitting an enquiry through the Kamila Pickles Photography website. A response is typically sent within 24 hours with a brochure and further information, followed by a phone or video consultation to discuss wedding plans and package options. Once confirmed, a contract and 10% booking fee secure the date.

Closer to the wedding, couples receive a questionnaire covering timelines, inspiration and final details, with a final check-in taking place around one month before the day itself.

When should couples book?

Couples are encouraged to book as early as possible, especially for peak wedding dates in spring and summer. Enquiries are answered within 24 hours, and bookings can often be secured the same day following the consultation.

How many photos will we receive?

A sneak peek gallery of approximately 20-30 edited images is delivered within 24 hours. Full galleries are delivered within 30 days and typically include 300-500+ edited images, depending on the package.

All images are delivered via a secure online gallery for easy viewing, downloading and sharing.

Will Kamila liaise with other suppliers?

Yes, Kamila works closely with other wedding suppliers and venues to help ensure the day runs smoothly. She always aims to connect with vendors before the wedding and will coordinate any other details in person on the day.

What happens if there are delays on the day?

If delays are caused by circumstances outside of anyone’s control, coverage is extended at no additional charge to ensure key moments are captured.

For avoidable delays extending beyond 30 minutes past the agreed timeline, additional hourly charges may apply.
