Luxury five-star wedding venue Mar Hall has unveiled new pictures of its upgraded spa and leisure facilities, refurbished restaurant and stunning bedroom suites – all set for guests to enjoy in spring 2025

Now, with £15m renovation plans currently underway, the hotel near Glasgow is set to be bigger and better than ever.
What guests can expect at renovated Mar Hall
There will be complete overhaul of Mar Hall's guest rooms, suites and apartments as well as all public spaces, including the main entrance and reception, Members’ Lounge, Long Gallery, bar, restaurant and private events areas.
The revamp - with esteemed Glasgow-based firm, Graven, behind it to lead the design vision - will also include new additions such as a 24-person private cinema, Gaming Room and Billiards Room.

The transformed Mar Hall blends timeless elegance with a standout contemporary design, allowing guests to experience the hotel’s legacy. and surroundings in new, inspiring ways," says the resort's director Lisa King.

Accommodation will now include 74 luxurious guest rooms – including three Grand Suites and eight Junior Suites - with striking botanical wallpaper, soft textures, warm-toned colour palettes and new ensuite bathrooms.

Mar Hall is located in Bishopton, just 15 minutes away from Glasgow and 10 minutes from Glasgow Airport. It is nestled in the Scottish countryside between the River Clyde and overlooking the Kilpatrick hills.
Within the Garden Pavillion, Mar Hall can cater for between 100 and 350 guests, while the Morton House Ballroom has no minimum capacity.
