From debut-era country romance to Reputation drama and Midnights cool-girl confidence, we’ve selected 12 Taylor Swift–inspired wedding dresses, one for each album. Consider this bridal style – Taylor’s version

When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce shared their engagement announcement on Instagram in August 2025, the internet truly went into meltdown – the joint post racking up millions of likes and reposts within hours.

Ever since, fans have been asking everything from when is Taylor Swift getting married to what her own wedding dress might look like, how many gowns she’ll wear, and what style choices she’ll make once she and Travis finally tie the knot.

While we wait to see what Taylor herself steps down the aisle in, we’re looking to the albums that fans already know inside out.

From teenage crushes and dramatic breakups to healing, confidence and settled romance, her discography neatly mirrors the relationship stages many brides recognise all too well – often with a specific song (or album) tied to the memory. Proposals, hen parties, wedding mornings… chances are Taylor’s been on the playlist at some point.

And if The Eras Tour showed us anything, it’s that this fandom loves to dress the part. Sequins, cowboy boots, ribbons and gowns all made an appearance as fans translated albums into outfits, swapped friendship bracelets and sang their nostalgic hearts out.

So, for the brides who grew up with Taylor by their side, we’ve selected 12 Taylor Swift-inspired wedding dresses – one for each era. Each look channels the aesthetic of its album, bridging the gap between Taylor’s sound and style and the latest bridal fashions.

It’s good wedding sense to avoid trialing new treatments and looks too close to the big day, so of course, where better to turn than the safe embrace of the albums that have served us so well over the past 20 years. Consider this bridal style – Taylor’s version.

Taylor Swift wedding dress inspiration by album

1. Taylor Swift

Inspired by Taylor's self-titled debut album, Taylor Swift, this Paloma Blanca pick (style M2585, Mikaella) is a soft country-chic take on the sundresses Taylor was well-known for in the earlier years of her career.

Beautiful paired with a natural wave, simple accessories – maybe even a pair of cowboy boots – this sleeveless chiffon and raschel lace wedding dress only needs to be 'Tied Together with a Smile'.

2. Fearless

Fearless is right – at only 18 years old, it quickly became clear Swift was a born performer. While still keeping her girly, feminine energy, Taylor's emerging stage presence saw her introduce a love of shimmer, sparkle, and tassels for that added movement within any outfit.

This dazzling mermaid Sienna gown from Australian label, Zavana Bridal, provides a similarly satisfying swish with the help of an added overskirt while the delicate off-the-shoulder sleeves and beaded bodice and lace appliqué make the gown an excellent option for bringing any Swiftie bride into their own 'Forever & Always'.

3. Speak Now

If Speak Now is your chosen era, there's no doubt this wedding dress will have you shouting 'Mine' across the bridal boutique.

It's no exaggeration to say we were truly wonderstruck upon spotting WONÁ Concept's Bridal Alchemy 'Elite'. A swan-like ballgown, complete with voluminous layers of translucent mesh and a waist-cinching fitted corset top – you'll surely float right down the aisle in this enchanting storybook silhouette.

4. Red

Taylor's versions were the gift that just kept on giving, and in 2021 we were given a glittering glimpse 'into the vault' with Red's 'I Bet You Think About Me'. The country and folk-pop ballad also treated us to a brand new music video featuring Miles Teller and a gorgeous – you guessed it – wedding dress modelled by Taylor herself.

Veni Infantino's Aadhya is a spitting image of the video's sweetheart neckline ballgown complete with delicate 3D floral appliqués in soft blush and ivory tones.

Thinking to yourself, 'hey, that's pretty spot on'? What can we say, we know your taste 'All Too Well'.

5. 1989

Swift's fifth studio album, 1989, marked her official move into pop music – and while the album title reference's the singer's birth year, Swift's statement 'Style' at the time was peak 2014. Crop tops and high-waisted shorts were all the rage – so what could be more perfect for an 1989-inspired bride than this chic bridal separates set.

Cardiff bridalwear designers e&w couture crafted the Rio Crop and accompanying tulle skirt with sleek 'Clean' lines and subtle structure in mind – ideal for brides wanting a modern mix-and-match effortless 'Style'.

6. Reputation

Reputation brought a new, edgier side to Swift's previous sweetheart status, so of course it's only right a big day 'Dress' inspired by the 2017 album be appropriately slinky and sultry.

Gone is the pretty princess pouffe and instead, this era's brides are sure to feel truly 'Gorgeous' in a sexy satin fit and flare, like this Sculpture by Justin Alexander Signature, exquisitely adorned with draped beading and corset boning – a bridal ode to Taylor's '...Ready for It?' armour.

7. Lover

If you like shiny things but would marry you partner with paper rings there's no question about it – you're a true romantic, a Lover-era gal. And hey, all the money you save on those rings can be perfectly spent on a gorgeous wedding dress instead...

So, ladies and gentlemen will you please stand for Morilee New York's Daphne in blush – the organza and tulle embodiment of the 2019 studio album's iconic cotton-candy cloud cover artwork. Romantic with a modern twist, Daphne has a sheer bodice with textural draping, a plunging neckline, structured corset boning and 3D floral appliqué that creates a truly dreamy off-the-shoulder sleeve.

8. Folklore

A surprise release during the chaos that defined 2020, Folklore's cosy nostalgia and eloquent escapism brought with it the warm embrace of a home knit 'Cardigan'.

Mirroring Folklore's comforting tale of woodland whimsy, Justin Alexander's Sincerity bridal's English net A-Line Gown with butterfly appliqués and dropped waistline is bound to be beloved by indoor and outdoor spring/summer brides alike.

9. Evermore

A Swift release in both time and essence, Evermore appeared on the scene in December 2020 as a sister-record to Folklore. If Folklore was spring flowers, Evermore is autumn leaves and 'Willow' trees...

'Ivy' grows and clover blooms on Rosa Clará Dream's Velaz gown, a beautiful and versatile A-line tulle with lace wedding dress featuring a square neckline, open back and detachable sleeves – ideally suited for those swinging Scottish seasons.

10. Midnights

As the bride, it's your divine right to walk in the room and make the whole place shimmer – Midnights style. Zavana Bridal's strapless Meritt gown, entirely encrusted with rows of delicate beads, is just the glamorous gown to make that dream your big-day reality.

A 10th studio album and a wedding are both immense causes for celebration, and in a flattering figure-hugging number like Meritt, you're ready to dance the night away – after of course, saying 'I do' to that all-important 'Question...?' that brought you all together to begin with.

11. The Tortured Poets Department

If you're here reading this, congratulations are likely in order – you're marrying the 'love of your life'! Men like 'The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived' are in both yours and Swift's past and the only thing to do now is move on to bigger and better things – like this incredible couture Paloma ballgown from California-based designer Katherine Tash.

Inspired by vintage poetry and old typewriters, Taylor's The Tortured Poets Department era brought a mix of romantic and gothic touches best captured by her The Eras Tour striking white high-low dress featuring bold handwritten lyrics spread out across the skirt

The Paloma ballgown channels a similar bold, statement energy with a fully structured corset and lace-up back closure, paired atop a double-layer bubble-hem ballgown skirt with a full train.

12. The Life of a Showgirl

2025 was a whirlwind of fabulous news for Swifties far and wide – Taylor officially owns all of her music, released her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl, and of course said yes to forever with her very own 'Wi$h List' man!

If you too are feeling the love and are equally obsessed with the showgirl vibes Taylor was splashing all over her Instagram last autumn – you'll adore WONÁ Concept Bridal Alchemy's Gaia.

A playful balance of sexy and sweet, mini-dress Gaia features a firm corset top decorated with pearl embroideries, a tiny bow in the centre of the plunge and a fine pearl embroidery on the hips – a true showstopper for any bride-to-be.
