Love is in the air, with lots of celebs getting hitched and engaged in 2024. We take a look at who has said ‘I do’ this year as well as which famous faces are now planning their big day
As 2024 comes to an end, we’re taking a look at these celebrity relationship milestones – of which there has been no shortage!
The likes of Usher, Lana Del Rey, Rebel Wilson and Millie Bobby Brown have all had a different approach to their nuptials, from grand parties to private affairs.

January 2024
Jordan Harvey and Madison Fendley
Scottish country music singer Jordan Harvey and dancer Madison Fendley tied the knot at Dalhousie Castle in January following an almost two-year engagement.
Being a musician, Jordan even created a new song for their pair’s first dance - how romantic!

Usher and Jenn Goicoechea
Grammy Award-winning artist Usher shared photos to his Instagram on 11th February confirming his marriage to longtime girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea ahead of his Super Bowl halftime show performance. The pair tied the knot in Las Vegas with their four children in attendance.

April 2024
Christina Hendricks and George Bianchini
Actress Christina Hendricks and camera operator George Bianchini got married in New Orleans on 20th April 2024.
The bride wore a custom Katya Katya wedding dress and a custom Claire Pettibone veil for the ceremony, as well as several other looks over the course of their wedding weekend.

Ava Black and Mikey Davison
Scottish influencer Ava Black tied the knot with Mikey Davidson following a two-year engagement. The couple got married in May at Glasgow City Chambers ahead of another wedding celebration in Italy the following month.
The bride wore a custom Eleganza Sposa mini dress for the Glasgow nuptials, and wore two more Eleganza Sposa dresses in Italy.

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi
Just over a year after publicly confirming their relationship, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown announced her engagement to Jake Bongiovi. In April 2023, the pair shared sweet proposal photos to their Instagram pages, and Millie wrote: ‘I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all’.
The couple officially tied the knot with a private ceremony in May 2024, before having a more lavish celebration in Tuscany, Italy. The ceremony was officiated by Millie's Stranger Things co-star Matthew Modine, who plays Dr. Martin Brenner, her Papa, in the series.

Scott Mills and Sam Vaughan
In June, BBC Radio 2 DJ Scott Mills married his longtime partner Sam Vaughan at coastal villa near Barcelona.
Their day included Scott Mills’ former co-host Chris Stark as master of ceremonies as well as performances from Pixie Lott, Calum Scott, Sam Ryder, and Joel Corry.

Lucy Spraggan and Emilia Smith
Singer-songwriter and former X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan has married wedding photographer Emilia Smith.
Their celebrity guestlist included Simon Cowell who even walked Lucy down the aisle. After their ceremony, the pair had a refreshing dip in an ice bath and got matching tattoos of their wedding date.

Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey
The former Miss Universe and American football player were together for four years before getting engaged.
They tied the knot in Rhode Island, USA, on 29th June. The bride wore three dresses designed by Dolce & Gabbana; a long-sleeve, crepe ball gown with a button-lined back paired with a 16ft lace veil for the ceremony, an off the shoulder high-waist chiffon gown for the reception dinner and then a mini dress with a silk bodysuit with a cage skirt with tulle gloves for the after-party.

July 2024
Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden
Saoirise Ronan has married her Mary Queen of Scots co-star Jack Lowden. The intimate wedding took place at Edinburgh Central Registrar’s Office in mid-July and wasn't publicly announced by the couple.
The American-Irish actress and Scottish actor were first rumoured to be dating in 2018 and have kept their relationship fairly private ever since.
No other details have been shared about their wedding so far, but we'd love to see some wedding photos!

Jilly Cross and Andy Halliday
Scottish influencer Jilly Cross (known online as Jilly Isabella) and former Rangers footballer Andy Halliday got hitched in Glasgow in July.
Jilly shared the happy news on Instagram with a series of snaps of the pair walking around Glasgow city centre and in the back of a taxi.
The bride wore a dress from her own brand Dula Label, meanwhile Gemma Purdon captured the photos, Olive Flowers Glasgow provided the flowers and the day was planned by Laura McCranor Events.

Vicky Pattison and Ercan Ramadan
After getting engaged in February 2022, former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison and Ercan Ramadan got married in London on 24th August.
Their wedding had a black and white dress code and theme, which saw the bride wear a chic short gown. They made it official and celebrated with their 150 guests ahead of their Italian wedding celebration.

Singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey married alligator your guide Jeremy Dufrene on 26th September in Louisiana
Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma
Actress Rebel Wilson and her fashion designer Ramona Agruma revealed in February 2023 that they had gotten engaged at Disneyland and shared photos of the impressive Tiffany & Co. ring.
On 28th September 2024, the pair tied the knot in a small destination wedding in Porto Cervo on the Italian island of Sardini. Both brides wore beautiful Pronovias dresses.

Amber Anderson and Connor Swindells
Actors Amber Anderson and Connor Swindells, who met on the set of Autumn de Wilde's Emma, tied the knot at Boath House in Nairn in October.
Their day included their rescue dog Moose as the ring bearer, a traditional ceilidh (which saw the bride change into another iconic Vivienne Westwood dress) and actor Alistair Petrie, who plays Connor’s dad in Sex Education, officiating the wedding.

Gemma Collins and Rami Hawash
TOWIE star Gemma Collins and Rami Hawash announced the details of their engagement with a lavish photoshoot. The bride-to-be revealed to OK! Magazine that they are planning on having three weddings.
After first meeting in 2011 and dating on and off since then, Rami proposed to Gemma while the pair were on holiday in the Maldives for her birthday in February 2024.

It was confirmed in April that model Alexa Chung and actor Tom Sturridge are engaged. The couple are reportedly busy planning their wedding which is set to take place this summer.
Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Denis Sulta
Actress Saoirse-Monica Jackson, who is best known for playing Erin Quinn in Derry Girls, is engaged to Scottish DJ Denis Sulta.
The DJ announced the happy news during an interview, which Saorise shared to her Instagram.

Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor revealed that she is engaged to actor Cameron Fuller while at the 2024 Met Gala. At the event, the actress wore a Victoria Beckham gown and a diamond ring on her ring finger, signaling her happy news.

Singer Lady Gaga and philanthropist Michael Polansky first went public with their relationship on social media in 2020, and he has since featured on the pop star's grid numerous times.
Lady Gaga revealed the details of her proposal while on Jimmy Kimmel Live in October.
She told host Jimmy Kimmel that Michael had popped the question after the pair had been rock climbing, and explained: "He didn’t propose to me at the top. We climbed up to the top and we looked around and we took some photos, and then we went back down...He had the ring in his backpack so it was so super cute. He got into his backpack and pulled it out."

Singer Selena Gomez and songwriter Benny Blanco announced their engagement in December by sharing some some snaps to Instagram of the proposal set up as well as her gorgeous ring. Fans quickly put together the fact that Selena's engagement ring has a marquise diamond, which she refers to in her song 'Good For You'. Nice touch, Benny.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens
World-famous Olympic gymnast Simone Biles tied the knot with American football player Jonathan Owens in a Texas courthouse on 22nd April 2023. The pair then had a lavish ceremony with all of their family and friends in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Simone wore not one but three custom Galia Lahav dresses on her second wedding day (and another one the night before), while Jonathan looked handsome in a cream suit.
Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo
After documenting their wedding planning in their Nearly Weds Podcast, Made In Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo tied the knot at Chelsea Registry Office on 14th April. The pair then had a bigger celebration in Andalucia, Spain.
Sophie stunned in a short Vivienne Westwood dress at the first wedding, which she wore with a Gigi & Olive veil, Jimmy Choo heels and a ‘Wifey for Lifey’ Sophia Webster clutch bag. For the second celebration, the bride opted for a more traditional style, commissioning a dress from Emma Beaumont.
Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge
On 22nd April 2023 Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge got married. They tied the knot at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes in the South of France, inviting their friends and family for a full weekend of celebrations.
For Sofia, the theme of the weekend was certainly Chanel, with the model wearing several outfits by the French brand plus three custom Chanel wedding dresses for the main event.
Chrishell Stause and G Flip
Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stausse and Australian musician G Flip got married after one year together. They got hitched in Las Vegas in May, saying ‘I do’ during a small wedding ceremony.
For their nuptials, Chrishell wore a floor-length Gemeli Power dress while G Flip wore an E Nolan suit with white trainers.
Olivia Attwood and Bradley Dack
Love Island star Olivia Attwood tied the knot on 3rd June with footballer Bradley Dack in London.
The bride wore a Galia Lahav wedding dress, lace choker and long veil, while the groom was dressed in all black.
Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin
On 15th July, actor Dylan Sprouse and model Barbara Palvin said ‘I do’ at a church near Budapest, in Barbara’s home country Hungary. The two are planning another larger wedding celebration in California.
For their ceremony, Barbara wore a beautiful custom strapless Vivienne Westwood dress, paired with a Tiffany & Co choker and Jimmy Choo shoes. She later changed into a short Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini dress and then a red dress, as part of a Hungarian wedding tradition.
Olly Murs and Amelia Tank
After getting engaged in June 2022, singer Olly Murs and bodybuilder Amelia Tank got married in July 2023. The couple went all out, hiring Osea Island and creating a festival set up for three days of celebrations for all of their guests.
For their main wedding day, Ameila wore a Pallas Couture gown with floral appliqué and detachable sleeves, while Olly looked dapper in a dark suit.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Andre Gray
After four years together, Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Aris footballer Andre Gray got married in a beach-front ceremony in Jamaica. The pair kept the news of their wedding a secret for several weeks before sharing gorgeous photos from their day at the end of July.
Leigh-Anne wore multiple dresses on her wedding day, but for the ceremony she chose a stunning gown with a full skirt and long train as well as a huge veil which had the words ‘We’ve crossed the line…’ at the bottom.
Vicky McClure and Johnathon Owen
Line of Duty actress Vicky McClure and film director Johnathon Owen tied the knot on 12th August. Fans were surprised by the lovely news when the actress shared sweet photos from their day.
Vicky looked beautiful in an off the shoulder gown with a slit up one leg, which she paired with a long veil and chunky mules.
Joey King and Stephen Piet
Actress Joey King and director Stephen Piet got married in September 2023 in a Great Gatsby-esque wedding in Mallorca.
The pair met on the set of The Act, and were together for three years before Stephen popped the question.
Over the course of their wedding weekend, Joey wore four gorgeous gowns from Oscar De La Renta including her strapless wedding dress distinctive fabric flower-petal paillettes. Their ceremony also included a song from pal Sabrina Carpenter, who sang in Swedish at the couple's request despite not knowing the language. Now that's true friendship!

Calvin Harris and Vick Hope
Scottish DJ Calvin Harris and Radio 1 presenter Vick Hope tied the knot on 9th September at Hulne Priory, in Northumberland. They had a massive Glastonbury-style after party for all of their guests with live performances by Nile Rodgers and Chic as well as a star-studded guest list. The pair have yet to share photos of the fabulous event, but it sounds like an incredible day!
Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae
The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy wed musician Malcolm McRae during a star-studded cerebration in Venice. The lavish event took place at the end of September, following reports that they were officially married the year before in a courthouse ceremony in the United States.
The actress wore a custom Dior gown, and opted not to have a traditional white dress. The designer gown instead was beige with embroidered birds and flowers, and was paired with a long white veil.
Jennifer Reoch and Jamie Hunter
Former Miss Scotland, Jennifer Reoch, married her longterm partner Jamie Hunter on 7th October 2023 at Pollok House in Glasgow.
Having a small, intimate wedding, the bride wore a gorgeous Eleganza Sposa and they surprised their guests with a piñata wedding cake that looked like a real cake.

Adele and Rich Paul
In November, Deuxmoi (an Instagram account who shares celebrity news) revealed that singer Adele had married Rich Paul, the founder of Klutch Sports Group.
They shared that while at Alan Carr comedy show, the ‘Someone Like You’ singer confirmed the news. According to a source, when Alan asked if anyone had been married recently she shouted “I did!”
This comes after Adele confirmed her relationship with Rich in September 2021 and she has also referred to herself as a “wife” during her Las Vegas residency show.
Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou
The Only Way Is Essex stars Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou tied the knot on 1st December in an intimate ceremony. They shared several snaps from the day, which show that they were joined by their two-year-old son Brody.
In the caption they explained that they wanted to end the year as husband and wife, and promised another wedding celebration, writing: ‘Wedding part 2 coming soon’.
The couple have been together since 2014 and got engaged in 2022 while on holiday in Mexico.
On their wedding day, Georgia looked stunning in a satin Khirzad Femme dress and Prada shoes, carrying a red rose bouquet from Reine Des Fleurs. The groom and their son wore matching shoes from Tommy’s brand CTRNE.
Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker
High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens married professional baseball player Cole Tucker in Tulum Mexico on Saturday 2nd December. The pair tied the knot after three years together, having announced their engagement in February.
They spent the weekend celebrating and with a welcome beach party to kick things off, to which the actress wore a Galia Lahav dress. For the big day itself, Vanessa wore a Vera Wang gown, and Cole looked handsome in a Canali Suit.

Singer Ella Henderson and her Olympic swimmer boyfriend Jack Burnell got engaged in January while on holiday in Mauritius. They broke the exciting news by sharing some snaps of themselves smiling, with Ella’s amazing diamond ring on show.
Demi Lovato and Jordan Lutes
After one year of dating, singer Demi Lovato and musician Jordan Lutes got engaged in December 2023.
