House of Savin brings spring and summer 2025 wedding dress trends to Glasgow

Discover the latest from House of Savin, a leading British bridal brand formerly known as Savin London, featuring hand-painted florals, custom designs, and groundbreaking techniques.

Fresh off the catwalk at New York Bridal Fashion Week, the highly anticipated Savin Prive and Savin London collections are now available at The White Collection in Glasgow.

The boutique, located in the heart of the city on Bath Street, offers spacious private fitting suites and a curated selection of wedding gowns. And on this occasion the excitement inside is especially palpable—with House of Savin designer Andrey Savin himself in attendance.

“We have our standard sizing, from 8 to 32, but at the base of our company, we’re tailors. The team don’t worry about sizes, they’re not afraid of shapes and busts – they can accommodate every bride with a dress made for her.”

Fashion-forward florals: House of Savin's signature bridal style

Stepping into The White Collection feels like entering a garden in full bloom. The latest wedding dresses showcase vibrant, hand-painted florals, embracing House of Savin's signature style.

“We don’t really do geometric prints or line patterns,” Andrey tells us. “It’s always a variation on florals. Everything we do is inspired by nature, and it gives the dresses a timeless quality – because nature is the one thing that doesn’t change.”

Using innovative hand-painting techniques, House of Savin blends modern floral prints with fashion-forward silhouettes.

The intricate designs, applied with proprietary paint blends and tiny brushes, are as durable as they are beautiful.

Innovative techniques in bridal fashion

As we're sure you can imagine, hand-painting wedding gowns is no easy feat.

“Paint is normally applied to surfaces that don’t stretch, so putting it on a garment, especially one that experiences as much movement while being worn as a wedding dress does – it’s quite challenging,” Andrey tells us.

“The blend we’ve developed doesn’t crack, doesn’t melt in higher temperatures, and is more fluid and less structured, which allows it to stay for a long time.

"We’re constantly improving it, already having gone on from just paint to paint and glitter, and now even getting into dry-cleanable paints.”

The brand’s meticulous process doesn’t stop at painting. Each gown is tailor-made from start to finish by a single artisan, ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail, clearly visible in the finished garment.

Custom wedding dresses for every bride

House of Savin prides itself on inclusivity and customisation. Equipped with sizing options ranging from 8 to 32 and a team of skilled tailors, every bride can have a dress tailored perfectly to her body and unique shape.

But customisation doesn’t end with fit. Brides can personalise their gowns’ colour palette, making them a perfect complement to their wedding theme—or even their partner’s kilt.

“We’re an artisanal production through and through," Andrey says, "which really allows us to create dream dresses and cater to a lot of brides.”

Looking for a wedding dress you can call 'the one'?

For Andrey, the magic of his creations lies in pairing the right gown with the right bride.

“It’s hard to pick favourites. The collection is very different, so it varies on who I see wearing each dress. Ultimately people have their own personalities and it’s so exciting to see when things really align.

“Our gowns are made by happy people – and that’s what our creations attract. Those happy, dancing-around types of brides – those are our brides. Smart, easy-going, hardworking, beautiful women who are confident in their choices.”
