Searching for the perfect wedding suit or kilt in Glasgow? Sett Kilts & Tailoring in the city’s southside has spent its first year redefining modern groomswear. Combining bespoke tailoring, highlandwear hire and down-to-earth service, it’s fast becoming the destination for stylish Scottish grooms

If you’re a groom wondering where to shop for your wedding suit in Glasgow, look no further than Sett Kilts & Tailoring. Since opening in 2024, this southside studio has been helping men design one-of-a-kind looks – from bespoke suits to highlandwear hire – all without trekking into the city centre.

Located in the heart of Battlefield, Sett was created to make kilt hire and tailoring more accessible for locals. “We wanted to create a shop that was local for kilt hire and tailoring,” explains creative director Erin McGreechin.

“Everyone who has come through our doors in the past year truly has been a local customer. We couldn’t be more grateful for the community we’ve been welcomed into.”

To celebrate its first year, the Sett team hosted an intimate in-store gathering complete with cakes, offers and heartfelt thanks to their loyal customers – many of whom live just a few streets away.

Bespoke suits and wedding tailoring in Glasgow

Sett’s reputation has grown rapidly thanks to its made-to-measure wedding suits and bespoke tailoring service. Each design begins with a one-to-one consultation to discuss fabrics, fits and personal touches – perfect for grooms who want something a bit different from the typical hire experience.

Prices start from around £1,000 for a three-piece suit, with each outfit crafted to the highest standard. The focus is on collaboration and individuality: your suit is designed around you, ensuring your personality shines through every stitch.
