Their spectacular ballroom is unique to the Highlands and stands out as one of the most beautiful venue spaces in Scotland. It is a spot of storybook romance and is ideal for your ceremony, meal and dancing the night away for up to 200 people. The room was built in 1912 for the then-owner’s daughter’s 21st birthday party, so has been designed with unforgettable celebrations in mind. 

Exclusive use

At Achnagairn, they believe that something as special as your wedding shouldn’t be over in a flash. The majority of their weddings last two nights or more, allowing you to have a relaxed meal on your first night for everyone to meet and mingle; soak up the magic of your wedding the next day, and relish in a recovery breakfast together the morning after – all enjoyed in the knowledge that the castle is yours and yours alone for the duration of your stay.

Space for everyone

Achnagairn can sleep up to 138 guests, with 24 luxury castle bedrooms that sleep up to 55 guests, and a further 38 rooms in their ‘Mini Manors’ on the grounds of the estate – no need for taxis at midnight! While the castle is exclusive use, you are not required to take all additional accommodation on the estate. Whether you are hosting 80, 120 or 130 people – this flexible venue will have the right configuration for you to sleep everyone on-site.
