Sweet Rosie

Torrance, Glasgow , G64 4AZ

Glasgow-based Sweet Rosie Jewellery has been specialising in bespoke and remodelled jewellery for over 20 years, bringing life back into customers’ sentimental pieces and heirlooms.

Owner Rosalind Morrison can take old pieces of gold jewellery and make them into something new; perfect if you have jewellery from a grandparent or parent that you want remodelled into a wedding ring or a special piece of jewellery to wear on your wedding day.

You probably think that having a bespoke piece of jewellery made is expensive, but you'll be surprised at the price.

Most of the time, the expense comes from buying gold or diamonds but if these have been provided, then that cost is gone completely. It’s a great saving if you can provide some of the materials.

Re-purposed jewellery for your wedding

The sentiment of the jewellery remains because it’s the same metal. The design may have changed to suit your style, but being able to actually wear the item rather than it sitting in a drawer unused means that you can have that person close to you every day, and you can pass that jewellery onto other loved ones.

The process is as personal as you want it to be. Simply contact Ros at Sweet Rosie to arrange a consultation either over Zoom or in her home studio to chat over ideas and designs. She always has a head full of ideas, so there's no need to worry if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. Start with a small idea, and build it out from there.

From agreeing on a design, it's normally about six to eight weeks before you get the finished product. The process is designed to be hassle and stress-free for you, so that you can get exactly what you've always wanted and will treasure forever.

Jewellery gifts for bridesmaids + mums

As well as a bespoke engagement and wedding ring service, Sweet Rosie has a website stocking a vast range of gorgeous jewellery which would make perfect gifts for the wedding party. Treat your girls to a bold and beautiful ring or necklace from the Queen Collection, or a personalised bangle with an inscription of the wedding date on it. There are so many possibilities.

Alongside the website, Sweet Rosie also has a store on Etsy, and a section in the Scottish Design Exchange in Glasgow's Buchanan Galleries, where she's stocked alongside lots of amazing fellow makers.
