Unique spots for a romantic celebration

Falside Mill is truly one-of-a-kind and boasts numerous unique function spaces to host your celebrations. From smaller weddings of 50 to larger weddings up to an impressive 400 guests, your vision will be brought to life no matter how grand or relaxed your wedding day is. With the ability to fully personalise their spaces to suit your needs, the venue also provide furniture to complement your décor.

For up to 200 guests, the Reception Room is a picture of rustic beauty, incredibly spacious and features a stunning timber clad ceiling that exudes grandeur. The Main Hall features beautiful, tunnelled skylights that allow natural light to flood the suite’s open space. Located off the Main Hall is a snug, which can be used in whichever way you want: a cosy lounge or a room for a fun photo booth. Speakers are also installed in the ceiling of both spaces for your background music and speeches.

The Mill Ring is a jaw-dropping conversion of the traditional farm steading and is a truly unique spot for your nuptials, ideal for smaller ceremonies or an intimate drinks reception. With flagstone flooring and natural light, the terrific views across the fields and beyond add to the magic of the space.

Take in the Scottish countryside with an outdoor ceremony

If you’re considering an outdoor ceremony, The Courtyard is an enclosed space enjoyed year-round for ceremonies and drinks receptions. During summer, it is described as a sun trap, however, it is equally as stunning during winter with its twinkling festoon lights. Their in-house Tuk Tuk can also be set up to provide your guests with delicious cocktails for your drinks reception. The rolling fields beyond are perfect for an outdoor ceremony or photography, with Kingbarns Beach close by for those dramatic beach shots.
