There are many spaces for couples to choose from if they choose to decide to tie the knot at Falside Mill.

The spacious Ceremony and Reception Room features a timber clad ceiling that exudes grandeur, while the Main Hall boasts tunnelled skylights that allow natural light to flood the suite’s open space.

Located off the Main Hall is a snug, which can be used in whichever way couples want: a cosy lounge or a room for a fun photo booth. Speakers are also installed in the ceiling of both spaces for background music and speeches.

Moreover, the Mill Ring is a stunning conversion of the traditional farm steading and is a truly unique spot. It is ideal for smaller ceremonies or an intimate drinks reception. With flagstone flooring and natural light, the terrific views across the fields and beyond add to the magic of the space.

Outdoor ceremonies at Falside Mill

If you’re considering an outdoor ceremony, however, The Courtyard is an enclosed space that is enjoyed year-round for ceremonies and drinks receptions. During summer, it is described as a sun trap, however, it is equally as stunning during winter with its twinkling festoon lights.

Falside Mill’s in-house Tuk Tuk can also be set up to provide guests with delicious cocktails for your drinks reception.

Additionally, the rolling fields are ideal for an outdoor ceremony or photography, with Kingbarns Beach close by for those dramatic beach shots.

With the ability to fully personalise its spaces to suit every couple’s needs, the venue also provides furniture to complement your décor. All required furniture can be hired in-house – everything from rustic tables which seat six to lime-washed chiavari chairs.

There is no on-site accommodation for guests at Falside Mill, however there are many near-by options that the team recommend. For example, Morton of Pitmilly Countryside Resort and Falside Smiddy are both just a stone throw away.

Catering at Falside Mill

Falside take care of all catering in-house. A three-course meal for 100 is priced at £36.95pp and features options like pan-fried fillet of venison and homemade cheesecake. The team can also offer BBQs and evening buffets. Plus, they have an in-house bar with cocktails too. External caterers are not permitted.
