The historic region is home to more than 350 ancient monuments, from cairns to standing stones, while the castle itself dates back more than 470 years to during the reign of the legendary Mary Queen of Scots.

The castle is the ideal size for tiny weddings and elopements, with a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for a relaxed ceremony that puts the emphasis where it matters – on you and your closest family and friends.

Dinner in The Glasshouse on the castle grounds is available for a maximum capacity of 20 people, including the bride and groom, and the castle dining room has a maximum capacity of 10 guests.

This venue is truly the ideal micro wedding venue in Scotland, perfect for those beautifully intimate moments shared only with your nearest and dearest.

With exclusive use of their five guest bedrooms, accommodation is available for up to 10 adults (plus your four-legged friends, should you wish them to be part of the celebrations) for a minimum stay of three nights.

They will also introduce you to their local florist, chef, photographer, and humanist who can work together to make your day bespoke. However, you are free to book your own services for your big day!
