23 Montrose Street is located on the east side of the City Chambers complex. It is ideal for smaller groups and offers two ceremony suites – The Clyde and The Kelvin.
The Clyde Suite is the most intimate room and is usually the prime choice for smaller ceremonies with rich woodwork features and a sleek design. The Kelvin Suite is flooded with natural light and is the perfect blend of historic charm and modern elegance. The warm room is tastefully decorated with neutral tones and features chandeliers that illuminate the central aisle.
The venue includes a dressing room, a reception area for guests, and a private room for the registrar to meet with couples before their ceremony.
Ceremonies are available at 23 Montrose Street from Monday to Saturday, and bookings can be made up to two years in advance.
City Chambers
Designed by renowned architect William Young, the City Chambers offers a truly majestic setting for your ceremony. As your guests step into the building, they’ll be welcomed by the grand reception hall featuring Europe’s largest marble staircase – a breathtaking backdrop for your special day.
Couples can choose between two stunning ceremony rooms: the Satinwood Suite or the Banqueting Hall.
